In early January of this year, the French Netflix Original Lupin was released. It’s a series about a man seeking to avenge his deceased father by becoming the gentleman thief Ars\u00e8ne Lupin. With Omar Sy in the lead role, Lupin Part 1 has been a major success for Netflix. And from June 11th, Lupin \u2013 Part 2 is already available.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could best describe Ars\u00e8ne Lupin as the French Sherlock Holmes with a touch of Houdini. Immigrant Assane Diop uses the character created by writer Maurice Leblanc to take revenge on the wealthy Pellegrini family. Years ago, his father worked as a chauffeur for the family but was falsely accused of theft and ended up in prison, where he ultimately took his own life. Assane has been on his own since then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a recent investigation, Assane discovers that his father was framed. He didn’t steal the diamond necklace all those years ago; the Pellegrinis used Assane’s father to collect insurance money. It’s high time to get back at the influential family!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the spectacular first episode, you are drawn into the mystery of Lupin. A heist that rivals famous Hollywood heists is featured here. But with the theft of the diamond necklace during its auction alone, Assane’s plan is not yet complete. The plans to thwart the Pellegrinis come one after another in rapid succession. Unfortunately for Assane, the family often stays one step ahead. Will he succeed in getting back at the Pellegrinis?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
